Scarcity

My posting on here has been scarce. I've been busy with a lot of things in life, mainly improving my modeling, texturing, lighting, blah blah blah skills. I've entered a mini challenge on http://www.spinquad.com for fun, there's no real prize, just a model to be used in the next big challenge, everybody who enters the challenge gets that model though. The challenge was to model a toolbox and three to ten tools to go inside of it, this image is just a test texture/lighting/render job I did while bored. If you want to see the actual models, go here:

The challenge ends on the 30th, I might get some more models done up before then, or not, depending on my mood.

Hello Kitty

As a modeling exercise to improve my skills, and after much searching,
I decided to model Hello Kitty. This was a very fun character to work on,
and has turned out nicely. In the middle of modeling my version, I found out
about a 3D animation currently in the works, check out their blog, it's very interesting(http://blog.sanriotown.com/3danimation:hellokitty.com). I have to say, I'm finding toon modeling to be very fascinating. :)
